Hi Christy, I can tell you from experience that breastfed babies eat MUCH more often than formula fed babies.

You can not overfeed a baby. They know when they're hungry and will let you know. I fed my baby on demand. ;-)

Can't really help you with the pumping questions as I've never pumped (well only when I had to due to a breastfeeding problem - oversupply) but I'm sure you could start pumping now to work up a supply in the freezer for baby.
