I have a sinus infection and I was prescribed clarithromycin for 2 weeks. My husband and I have been trying for just a few months now and I won't know for another 8 days if I may be pregnant. I understand that this antibiotic is a category c drug but I'm still not sure what that means. Could someone provide some information on how a drug is defined as a category a, b or c or direct me to a website with this info?
