I have had 3 miscarriages (1/00-fetal demise 8.5wks,11/00-blighted ovum,and 1/01-blighted ovum). Had a suction curettage on Jan 26, so far everything seems normal. My OB wants me to wait 3 cycles this time to TTC (never asked me to wait before.) Is there any evidence of m/c rates after this procedure? Supposedly there is a small stitch "up there" from the curettage - will this increase m/c risk and should I wait because of that? I have short luteal phase 9-10 days and slow rise in temps after ov. Thyroid levels are normal. I have 2 mos of Clomid 50 mg (never got a chance to take it) and feel that this is the answer to my problem. By the way, I am 35 yrs old and have had 2 normal pregnancies resulting in 2 terrific girls, ages 8 & 9. I'm prepared to wait for at least 1 cycle, but will wait for more if needed. I don't want to go through another m/c.
