period does not equal ovulation. if you had irregular periods before, you are right in thinking htey may be irregular again, and you may have more than average difficulty in getting rpegnant. Track your cycles, and if you have pretty regular periods and haven't gotten pregnant in ayear, your doc can begin an infertiltiy investigation
