Re: Pregnancy symptoms and Doctor's office confusion (long)

I would test again in one week as suggested, or at least do a blood test before you start medication to get your period started again. With my first pregnancy - we had been trying for 3 years and were all set to do IVF but were waiting for my period to come, I had some pregnancy symptoms and had tested negative with EPT at 6 weeks. RE wanted me to start medication to get my period back as well and said there was no way I could be pregnant based on my history. Well I insisted on a blood test at 7 weeks and lo-and-behold all were shocked to find I was pregnant.
