Thanks, Vanda! I, too have had a miscarriage in the past and am therefor quite nervous about this pregnancy. I tried the doppler again this morning (I'm 9wks) and picked up a heartbeat of 165 that registered on the doppler readout. Like you said, every pregnancy and every person is different (I'm a little underweight, so maybe that explains why I'm hearing it so soon). I'm pretty sure I heard a strong heartbeat, so I feel much better. Thank you for your kind words and best of luck to you, as well. Rach
