i have been on progesterone since 7 weeks- had some spotting but stopped before i started the cream- prog level at 6 wk 5 days was 9.7- i have had ultrasounds at 8 weeks and 9 weeks and baby measured 3 cm, had movement - everything looks good- i will be 10 weeks on monday- my questions are: when going off crinone do you stop cold turkey at 12 weeks- or is it better to wean off like start taking it every other day for a week after i hit 12 weeks- my ob said he would just take me off at 12- ???or is it better to go to 14 weeks to be sure??? i have been a wreck since i have been taking this stuff- i have a "natural" preference when it comes to medical stuff- and it is hard to accept that i need this- i have fear that the pregnancy is going to still fail- even though things have looked fine- my question is : what are the stats/odds/ of the baby miscarrying after i go off this stuff- i feel dependent on it- i know the placenta is suppose to take over- but is it possible that the placenta may not be able to do that given i was low to begin with-? any ideas/ perceptions would help- thanks, jennifer
