Tonya: This is my experience with ttc after using b/c pills. I was on the pill for about 13 years (like you, I went on for irregular periods initially). When my husband and I were ttc, our doctor advised me to stop taking the pill, have a period, use condoms for a month, then have a period, then ttc all we wanted! We followed his advice and got pregnant the first time we had sex following the period after the condom-month. My cycle was pretty normal for both those periods and I obviously ovulated LOL We now have a healthy, gorgeous 20-month-old boy :) I wish the same success story for you, Tonya :) Take care
