I had a D&C last month due to a missed miscarriage and last week I started feeling pregnancy symptoms again. I went to the doc and they did a blood test which came up at 7.7 (which she termed was indeterminate) . Yesterday, I took a home pregnancy test and it came up positive. When I called my doc and told her this she had me come in for more blood work. The test yesterday showed a count of 27.7. The doctor is concerned and said that it was too low for a viable pregnancy. Is this true? Is there a possibility that the pregnancy could be ok even though the count didn't exactly double every two days? It has been six days in between the counts and the doctor said there should be a count of about 60. She told me to come in again for more blood work in a week. Please help with any information as I am rather devastated at this news. Thanks.
