Rachael, Bring your BP monitoring machine with you & demonstrate your technique. They can take your bp also & the two will hopefully be similar enough to convince the dr you are getting accurate readings. I imagine there is not much I can say to help you with the white coat syndrome, for some reason I am immune to it, perhaps if you made a joke of it? If you get a reading that is really high ask them to pull out an array of syringes and do it again to see if you can get it even higher? Sorry! Can't resist!
