Hi! I had an abdominal myomectomy about 2 months ago, and have started trying to conceive (doc said it was OK to ttc at 6 weeks post op).

However, I have lost a lot of interest in sex!! Does major surgery sometimes affect hormone levels or affect the nerves so that the libido is affected??

When I was recovering at home for 6 weeks, I read up on fertility and how to get pregnant. I am afraid that everything I read may have depressed me and taken the fun out of sex ...However, I just want to know if something more physical (rather than mental) may be the cause!! Thanks in advance!! Deb
