Phenergan Suppositories for Vomitting???From: DeeDee (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 22 Jan 2001 10:47:01 -0600 (CST)
I am 9 1/2 weeks pregnant with our first baby. I have had 24-hour a day nausea for the last 4 weeks. Last week, I started throwing up every single day, so my doctor gave me a prescription for phenergan tablets. Honestly, they have not worked. I am now throwing up at least twice a day. The doctor is considering putting me on phenergan suppositories. Do you know anything about these? I am a little nervous about them because of the drowsiness. I have missed a few days of work due to all the vomitting; now I am concerned that I won't be able to work because of being drowsy. Any ideas? Is nausea/vomitting really a good sign? We are so excited about this pregnancy. I just hope all is really okay.
