Thank YOU! one doesn't always know whether they ar eof any help or not. For entertainment's sake, I would 1) keep a diary of fetal movements using two or three times during the day or situations ( ie. sleeping, eating, driving, walking) to record fetal movements once they start in about four weeks. 2) Take a tape recorder to the doctor's office and record the doppler there to listen to later. 3) Observe the effect on the baby of playing back the doppler tape against your belly when the baby is a) active or b) inactive and see the results. Also ask if you can briefly videotape any of your ultrasound exams. I have found all of these activities to be very much fun and can be saved for your child's wedding.
