help with terminologyFrom: AMDStreiter (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 16 Jan 2001 10:08:01 -0600 (CST)
I'm 34 weeks pregnant. According to an ultrasound last week, I have a high, Grade 2 placenta and my amnionic fluid volume is 13.7. Can anyone please tell me what these two findings mean? I think the Grade 2 placenta is good, but what is the grade scale and where does Grade 2 fall in that scale? Also, the ultrasound technician said my amnionic fluid was a little low but the baby has plenty. What does a volume of 13.7 mean, and what is normal? Thank you sooo much! My next dr's appointment is not for 9 more days and I'm driving myself crazy trying to get these questions answered.
