HPT questionFrom: 2nd (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat, 13 Jan 2001 21:48:28 -0600 (CST)
I took Clomid this month and ovulated last Friday, 1/5, verified by sonogram. I was thought to only have one maturing follicle, but the sono on Friday revealed fluid and apparent corpus lutea in both ovaries. My progestrone on Thursday, 1/11, was 31.75. I have been feeling sick and rundown, so I decided to take an HPT this morning, even though I thought it was way too early. It showed a dark test line right away. Should I be thinking twins or is it common for HCG to be that high that soon with just one? Or are HPTs getting more sensitive? I'm kind of concerned. Please advise, anyone. Thanks.
