Hi.

I know what you're going through. I am barely just getting over the same thing and I am 34 1/2 wks.

What helped me was plain old fashioned chicken noodle soup. There's something about it's healing quality. I never would have believed it if I hadn't tried it. I had that 3 times a day for 2 days. I took 1 regular Tylenol at night for my sore throat, also regular Walmart brand cough drops to help with cough and sore throat. I didn't want to take meds either, but I did have to ask my OB for some-sometimes its better to do that than to have a cold for several weeks. My OB gave me Zithromax for 6 days. This medication is very safe during pregnancy.
