First, the weights are never real accurate. All Ultrasound estimated fetal weights are plus or minus 15-20%. In this case plus or minus a half pound. Second, if they really are that much different, one must worry about Twin-Twin Transfusion Syndrome. There are things to look for on US to see if this is Occurring. If this were my patient, I would refer her to a Maternal-Fetal Medicine Doctor.
