Yesterday I went for my 8wk (8w3d) check-up. My Dr gave me an u/s just for my piece of mind that everything was going ok. But its not. The u/s revealed that I have a blighted ovum and a missed ab. . No bleeding, no cramping, nothing abnormal. I had the same thing in August and we are crushed. My husband and I are now terrified that we wont be able to have kids together. Ive heard of people not being able to due to chromosomal incompatability. Would a b/o result from this? We are so scared and upset. One m/c you think it is just a fluke. A second you thing maybe just another fluke but maybe something is wrong. We are scared now that our 3rd pregnancy, when it happens, will end the same. My OB said that testing isnt usually done until 3 m/c in a row. I dont know if we can take this happening again. We've gotten PG both times right away...no problems in that department. Just nothing, no yolk sac even, has grown in either pregnancy. Any insight is so appreciated. Thank You, Jenn
