PCOS, Clomid and ovarian cystsFrom: 2nd (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 8 Jan 2001 20:58:38 -0600 (CST)
I have PCOS and this is my 2nd bout with infertility--I have a beautiful 2-year-old daughter from the first round. I took Clomid for four months with no result and then moved to injectibles to become pregnant with her. I am seeking to become pregnant again and took a round of Clomid this month, 50 mg days 5-9. I ovulated on Jan. 5(verified by ultrasound and BBT--have not had progestrone test yet) and was very suprised. I now am 3 days past ovulation and am experiencing some mild abdlominal pain and pretty intense swelling. Does anyone have any thoughts? I am thinking cyst but the pain is on both sides. I am trying to figure out what to do and whether I will have a lower chance of getting pregnant if these are cysts. Anyone???
