Any suggestions would be >appreciated. Rosie, The easiest way to avoid induction is to "just say no". You can't be induced if you don't want to be. Bear in mind that studies have shown that pregnancies allowed to progress beyond 41.5 weeks have an increased incidence of problems. That doesn't mean that everybody getting to that gestational age should automatically be delivered, it simply means that when a pregnancy is allowed to go past that date, some form of fetal testing should be provided...
