Re: Choroidplexus CystFrom: Ganna (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 4 Jan 2001 13:02:21 -0500
I am pregnant now with boy who was diagnosed with this thing. The diagnosys was made at 22 weeks and at 25 weeks I had level II u/s - the cyst was gone. You can read about the cyst on http://www.choroidplexuscyst.com ( I am sorry, today their site does not work) or you can order information at March of Dimes. My doctor told me not to worry - it has to be gone at 24-26 weeks. The only thing you can worry about is sometimes this cyst can be one of signs of genetic abnormalities. But if u/s does not show any other signs of this abnormalities, than likely the kids are ok. You can have amniocentesys just to be sure. Ganna.
