My LMP was 11/9/00 and my pregnancy was confirmed with HCG level of 378 on 12/19/00. On 12/26 I had some bleeding and light cramping and went to the ER. They did an ultrasound and diagnosed a blighted ovum because they saw a sack with no fetal pole. My HCG level was 5500. On 12/28 I passed a 1" sized clot which i thought was the fetus. I went to my doctor when I got into town on 1/2/01 and she did a blood test. My HCG level is 27,000. Could you please give me some idea on what is going on. I have been on a roller-coaster of emotions. I am scheduled for another ultrasound on 1/8. Thank you, April
