Hello, The first time around I was admitted to the hospital w/ pre-eclampsia at 33 weeks & induced at 34w5d. Last time I did not have gestational diabetes, this time I do (onset at 9 wks, insulin at 12 wks). I have pretty much figured out my odds of getting pre-eclampsia a 2nd time around to be at 15%. What I am wondering is, if GDM increases the risk of PE, how much more so? Is there any formula for this? The thing I see, I have an 85 out of 100 chance of NOT getting PE this time, and that is pretty good odds in my favor. Thanks, Alison 21w4d (and counting!)
