CardiolipinFrom: Angela (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sun, 31 Dec 2000 11:07:34 -0600 (CST)
My doctor has just diagonised me with having cardiolipin igg 18.8 H Poisitive and cardiolipin igm 12.2 negative. After having 2 early miscarriages this has now been diagnosied as the reason. I would really appreciate having e more information on this antibody. What is it and how did I get this? Could it mean the possibility of landing up with Lupus, thrombosis or any other condition? I already have a very healthy 5 year old and would love to have another child, but what are the consequences? I have beent old that I would need to take aspirin and heparin, but isn't this bad for the fetus? Is there any way that a person can get rid of cardiolipin antibodies? Thank you in advance for your response.
