Hi Mandy,

I just happened to be visiting today and saw your question. Perinatology is another subspecialty of Ob/Gyn. These drs get about 2 to 4 years of additional training to treat women who have risk pregnancies as a result of conditions such as diabetes, being over 35 just to name a couple of examples.
