drinking water during pregnancyFrom: Cynthia (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat, 30 Dec 2000 17:33:20 -0600 (CST)
I am now 33 wks and I am worried that I don't drink enough water. I am small 4' 11" now weighing 105 1/2. My OB says all is fine pre pregnancy weight of 91. I have had stomach trouble prior to pregnancy IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome) I can't eat large meals or drink large quantities of fluids as my stomach can't handle it and I vomit. I drink more fluids than I used to however, will the baby get adequate fluid intake from me? reason being is that my skin has become awfully dry...legs especially which never was bothersome before pregnancy I've always had very dry skin but not this bad. Does this mean that baby is taking more fluid from me since I don't drink the required amount for pregnancy? Is this harmful for baby... Thanks Cindy
