I saw my OB right away and she checked my cervix and listened for fetal heart tones, and fortunately everything is ok. I also had an ultrasound today and it was normal. I'm just curious if anyone else has experienced this type of bleeding or knows what may cause this to happen.

I am only about 5 wks. pregnant and I have been bleeding heavily for 5 days now and the Dr. assures me that my hcg levels and progesterone levels are rising very nicely. I conceived through ivf, so he thinks that maybe I am pregnant with more than one, and I am miscarrying one of them since I also have severe cramps.
