Breasts no bigger at 8 weeksFrom: Beverley (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat, 30 Dec 2000 16:16:20 -0600 (CST)
It is 8 weeks since my LMP started, and I found out that I was pregnant about 2 and a half weeks ago, when 2 pregnancy tests were positive. At the time, my breasts were swollen & slightly tender, & the nipples noticeabley darker and enlarged. Now, at 8 weeks, my breasts aren't sore at all and they seem to have gone back to normal size. I have few other symptoms and have experienced minimal nausea. For the past couple of days I've had abdominal cramping (it feels like pulling inside), but no spotting or any other warning signals. I miscarried a year ago at (what I was told) was 8 weeks (hard to confirm because my periods are irregular), and remember the same symptom - my breasts suddenly stopped changing - from then. Should I be concerned? What is the likely cause? I have my first appointment with my OB/GYN on 16th. Even tho I explained that I've had a miscarriage, am 36 and suffer from polycystic ovaries, they couldn't fit me in any earlier. But I'd like to know what to ask the Doctor when I see him. Thanks for your help,
-- Beverley
