I'm at 29 weeks with an incompetent cervix, having been on bed rest for a month thus far. Are there statistics available about the effectiveness of pregnancy bed rest, though there is apparently no "proof" it is truly effective?

I am not having excessive contractions though my cervix is 80% effaced. What is the likelyhood my baby can go full-term? Otherwise, is there an estimation as to how long she "could" likely stay inside?
