Can I drink on New Year's Eve?From: anonymous (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 28 Dec 2000 21:19:45 -0600 (CST)
I am three days late for my period. Usually have regular 28 day cycles. Should have ovulated on the 12th. However, on the 18th felt pains similar to ovulation. In that case, I'm guessing my period may just show up on the first of January. However, on the 26th, when I should have started, I woke up with severe cramps and backache-like I would normally on the day my period starts. It lasted for two days, but subsided today. I have swollen, tender breasts and continue to feel twinges in my uterine area. My lower abdomen is also feeling very hard. I have slight nausea from time to time, but nothing unbearable. I did take two pregnancy tests, on the day after missed period...and then the following morning with first morning urine..both came back negative. Do you think it's safe to drink on New Year's Eve...or should I abstain just in case? Thanks for any advice. I won't be able to go to the doctor tomorrow. But I do plan on repeating a pregnancy test on Sunday morning.
