Ultrsound measuring 6 days early @ 5 wksFrom: Connie (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat, 23 Dec 2000 20:53:28 -0600 (CST)
I had a little bit of brown spotting that disappeared a few days before going for an transvag. ultrasound at by my est. 5 wks 2 days. I am 99% sure of this date (used fert monitor) The doctor said that the measurement was 4 wks 3 days. I had not yet had any HCG levels run, so he ran those, prog, and put me on prog supplements until they get the results. Is 6 days a major concern at this point? Everything was in tact in the uterus and formed, though no heartbeat could be seen. (said it was still too early). If the HCG levels come back within range, does that signify a normal pregnancy or should I wait until the follow-up ultrasound? He brought up the potential for miscarriage so I am very frightened. Thank you and Happy Holidays,
-- Connie
