2 vessel cord (mc)From: Stacey (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 20 Dec 2000 17:51:15 -0600 (CST)
2 weeks ago I had a mc at 16 weeks. I delivered my baby and had a d&c for the placenta. I just went for my 2wk post-op. They did genetic testing on the baby and found out there were definetly some problems. We (and the drs.) thought at birth that we had a boy, come to find out we had a girl! My ob/gyn thought maybe she had Turner's syndrome. Also, she was missing both radius bones and her right thumb. What could cause this? Could this be a genetic problem that could happen with every pregnancy? This was my first. Also, she had a 2 vessel cord. Is that common? Could that happen again? If so, will I automatically have another mc? Please help if you have any information about any of these problems. Thank you so much. Stacey
