I am the mother of a four year old that I conceived and carried with absolutely no complications. I did have problems delivering and had a cesarian. I have been trying for the last 3 years to have another child. I have conceived every time I have tried but have been unable to carry a baby past 12 weeks. My first miscarriage was at 5 weeks. The second (a year later) was at 11 weeks and I had a DNC. The chromosome test came back as random Down's Syndrome. The third miscarriage was in Oct. of this year at 5 weeks. I got pregnant again immediately. I just had another miscarriage (at approx. 7 or 8 weeks)and DNC on 12/15/00. My dr. did find a firbroid tumor. We have done all of the blood tests for lupus and various infections. I have not had my uterus x-rayed yet. I am very discouraged but am trying to remain positive. After all I can get pregnant and I do have one wonderful child. Has anyone gone through this? Any thoughts or suggestions? My dr. is refering me to specialists.
