I am 12 weeks pregnant. At my first ultrasound I had a corpus luteum 4 cm in size. At the next ultrasound it had shrank to 3 cm. That was about 4 weeks ago. Yesterday and today I have had some very light brown spotting. I had the same kind of spotting when I was first diagnosed with the corpus luteum and was told that the cyst was the cause of it. Could that be the case now? Could it be shrinking, which is causing the cyst to bleed? Would that cause me to spot? Thank you in advance!
