Treating Lining 'Out of Phase' ProblemsFrom: Ann (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 12 Dec 2000 19:19:40 -0600 (CST)
Here's my situation, I ovulate (confirmed by BBT and OPK) late, around day 18. My cycle is only 28 days, thus a luteal phase of only 10 days. I've had a HSG - all okay, blood tests - all ok, husband's semen analysis - all okay, and an endometrial biopsy - which showed that my uterine lining is out of phase by about 2 days. I'm on my 3rd cycle of Clomid which was prescribed to increase my luteal phase. (I guess get me back in sync) But there has been NO CHANGE to my cycle, I still ovulate on day 18 and have cycle of 28 days. Everything I've read indicates that Clomid is how "out of phase" linings are treated. What types of hormones, therapies etc. are available? I don't know how IVF would work if my lining isn't right for implantation. Thanks!
