24 Weeks pregnant with yeast infection- question about medsFrom: Nicole (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 12 Dec 2000 12:58:49 -0600 (CST)
Hello! I haven't posted any questions lately...thankfully my pregnancy has been going well so far. The only problem that I am experiencing is a yeast infection. My doctor told me I could treat it with over the counter medication but I am confused about which to use. I purchased the one day application but when I spoke to a friend of mine she said that a one day application could just make the yeast infection worse. She recommended the 7 day treatment. When I called my local pharmacy, they told me that the one day is just stronger and may cause its own irritation because it is stronger but there is no difference in the actual treatment's success. So...should I exchange the one day for the seven or just use it??? Thank you so much for all of your help! This forum has been invaluable and a life saver for me.
