I am now suggesting to pregnant women who travel for any distance to take aspirin to prevent blood clots in the legs. For a distance across an ocean I would suggest 500 mg to 750 mg daily in divided doses. You may wish to take the enteric coated kind to avoid stomach upset and the treatment is just for the day before, day of and day after the trip. Selman I.
