I had a tonsillectomy and was under general anesthesia a couple of weeks ago. I took Demerol afterward for pain. I just found out I am pregnant. I think I was only about 1 1/2 - 2 weeks pregnant when I had the surgery. What are the possible side effects of being under anesthesia during this time?
