I attempted to terminate my pregnancy three weeks ago (I was seven weeks) and when I went for my follow-up visit two weeks later, I found out I was still pregnant by a vaginal ultrasound (I informed them that I still felt pregnant, had no bleeding after the procedure, etc.). It was a very traumatic experience for me to terminate in the first place, and I believe I was blessed with this little miracle for a reason. I have decided to carry the baby to term and since then I have seen am OB/GYN and she referred me to a high-risk perinatologist and ultrasound for consultation. Everything looks ok with the baby so far, no infections or bleeding since the procedure, and I am relieved. The baby looks normal for its gestational age and my cervix is fine. I am trying to find out if there are any medical reviews, websites or articles on the internet that I can view to find out more information about my situation. It seems like my situation is not too common, or maybe I am just searching with the wrong key words. I would like to find out how things turned out for pregnancies similar to mine - things like possible complications, etc. Any information is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
