Most of the time, with appropriate healing and appropriate exercise and diet, the cosmetic result of a transverse scar can be quite good. YOu need to be sure that you have your doctor's clearance to resume exercising, and guidance as to what type. It is important not to stress it too much too soon. It helps if your abdomen was well toned prior to pregnancy, and that you did not gain excessive weight during pregnancy.
