Your confusion is that there is no confusion (what did he say?)
Menstrual age is the weeks since your period. Gestational age is the
weeks since your last period and - guess what? Ultrasound measurements
are based upon size of a fetus since ........... your last menstrual
period.
Cool, huh?
the sono/dates discrepancy is 6 days. 3-4 days is acceptable at this
point. they may alter your due date.
