Hello, Pat I am not a doctor. Don't think nothing about you having to have something to help. I had a lot of trouble about a little over a year ago, me and my husband (cheating he was)had trouble, well, it put me over the deep. I got on prozac which helped me. I am off of it now. I was only on it for 6 month. First, talk to your doctor, make sure you tell him that you are trying to concieve, and tell him your probelms with stress. Stress can cause alot and it can contribute not getting pregnant. It can cause your body to not regulate and so on. So, I definely agree, on you getting some help and pulling things together, So you can enjoy the process of making a baby, (you know what I mean) I know that there are antidepressants that are safe to take during pregnancy. I am not sure on which ones though. I know that when I was taking prozac it took it about a month to really start working. So it will take that much time just to start helping I also seen a counselor when I was having some trouble and believe it or not it did help. I know that sometimes just having someone you can just talk to can help. Right now, me and my husband is going through financial difficultie and (my huband and I were at each other throats) Well, I went to a financial counselor and debt consolidation. Well, I can talk all night long. Sorry so long.
Hope this helps
