spotting and fibroidsFrom: Lena (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 30 Nov 2000 11:42:08 -0600 (CST)
Hi, Looks like my questions was skipped. I am 12 weeks pregnant and have been spotting for 7 weeks now. My doctor was able to hear baby's heart beat through a doppler 2 days ago. My previous ultrasounds showed small hemorrhage just below the gestational sack. My last ultrasound showed that the homorrhage had resolved, but I am still spotting a little bit (Mostly when I strain). What can be casuing it? What is the chance that I will miscarry now? I also have 2 fibroids - one 6 cm and another 3.5 cm. They are both within the wall and outside of my uteris. 3.5 cm fibroid is very close to my cervix. Can these fibroids cause spotting? (They did not cause it, when I was pregnant with my daughter, who is 4 years old now and I had fibroids at that time). Can fibroid that is close to cervix cause it to open preterm? Appreciate all of your answers.
