Re: A Little ConfusedFrom: Carmen (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 29 Nov 2000 22:54:32 -0600 (CST)
Rose, I'm confused: what does DH and I baby danced mean? You're ovulating? Anyway the absolute prime time to have sex is 12 hours prior to ovulation then the sperm are in place when the egg comes out BUT sperm are thought to live inside a woman's body for 24 to 48 hours (2 days). Also an egg can only be fertilized for approx. 12 - 24 hours after ovulation. My doctor has always said every 2nd day leaves a sufficient supply of sperm inside, he also said good idea to lay still for 20 minutes after sex to let the sperm 'pool' at the opening of the womb. Hope this helps! Carmen At Wed, 29 Nov 2000, Rose wrote: > >Hi, > >I am on cycle day 9 and just finished my first Clomid Cycle of 50 mg.
