I had my second c-section 6 weeks ago. My bleeding had stopped at 4 weeks post partum. Four days ago I started bleeding again and it's very heavy and bright red. I assumed it was my period returning, but my periods have never been this excessive and the bleeding is not getting lighter. It's as heavy or heavier than right after the c-section. My belly still seems to be rather large and I also have mild tenderness at the incision site. I had none of these problems with my first c-section so I'm wondering if I could I have an infection or other problem I should be concerned about.
