Hello ,Cheryl

There really isn't anything you can compare hcg levels because there such a wide range, the first number is nothing with out the second and the second is suppose to double by at least 66% every 48 hours to 72 hours. If it isn't, than this can mean there is a problem. In your case, that is why your doctor is worried about a ectopic pregnacy. There are women you have went on to have healthy babys who had low not really doubling hcg levels. If I were you I would see if your doctor will do a ultrasound to rule out ectopic, which he will not be able to see much inside the uterus right now, and see if he will keep following the hcg levels they may start rising, and to make sure they don't drop, which can pin point a pending miscarriage. I have been right there in your shoes before so I know what you are going through, and all I can tell you is time is the only answer. You are so early, it is hard to give a straight answer at this point. I have a question, Have you had any bleeding or cramping? Please just take it easy. Don't worry, it will not make the situation better on you or the pregnancy. You can email me personaly.

Hope this helps Lori 29 weeks 4 days
