I'm due in 8 weeks and I am planning to nurse my baby. A couple of people have told me that they nursed their baby at the hospital but also had the hospital give them a bottle of formula at the night time feeding. They continued this ritual (nursing for all feedings with the exception of 1 formula feeding) for several months. Do you recommend this? What is more beneficial for the baby? Please advise.
