Spotting and low hCGs levels

I just found out I was pregnant about two weeks ago. This past Sunday I started spotting, sometimes bright red, sometimes light brown. I called the doctor, and the midwife asked that I come in for blood work on Monday. At this time I am about 5 1/2 weeks along, according to the chart, last period was 10/9. My hCGs levels were 335. The midwife told me this wasn't good at all. My levels should be much higher in the 3000 to 5000 range plus along with the spotting I probably was having a miscarriage. She asked that I come back on Wednesday to see if the levels doubled. Suprisingly they did to 730. She said it still didn't look good because they are still so low. She said to come in on this coming Monday to see if they are still doubling. I am still spotting lightly. Is there any encouraging advice? I have been praying that everything will work out okay. The midwife is being very pessimistic. Also, I have had two leep procedures for mild displaysia, could this be the reason for the spotting? Please help as soon as possible.

Thanks so much! Please pray for my little unborn one and my family.
