Heard the baby's hb, sounded nice and strong. However, the nurse measured me and said my uterus measured 16 wks. This alarmed me and I asked my peri if this was ok. He said a woman who has been pregnant before can expand more - sooner. I have had 2 u/s already(7 & 9 wks) so I know its not twins. I have had 3 pregnancies before. A full term 8lb 11oz baby boy, a miscarriage and my last preg. was complicated by HELLP. I had my daughter at 25 wks. Both deliveries were c-sections. This will be my last pregnancy, I'm 36 and it is exhausting when it is high risk. My baby girl did not make it last year and I really seem to be doing good so far with my blood pressure and health. I am worried about this because I read sometimes a woman can have too much amniotic fluid. I'm not diabetic. I'm overweight and carry most of my weight in my tummy(even after losing 5 pds from m/s). Can this screw up the measurement? Should I not worry about this?
