I'm concerned that my doctors are duplicating some very expensive out of pocket blood tests for infertility. I have very limited funds and insurance doesn't cover any infertility procedures. I thought I was managing the process by making sure all doctors had my files with previous test results, but am now questioning whether or not this information is being accessed by my doctors efficiently. Here's what happened and my question: Under the advice of an Invertility Specialist, I recently did a Clomid test which required blood tests on day 3 of my cycle for Estradiol, FSH and Venipuncture and then FSH and Venipuncture on day 10. Back in April, my regular OBGYN also had me take the same blood test on day 3 for Estradiol and FSH and then FSH on day 10. I wasn't taking Clomid at the time. I realize that my FSH levels would be different for day 10 because of the Clomid, but wouldn't my levels be the same between April and October for Estradiol on day 3? Was the blood test duplicated?
